Not sure if it was ever that bad, I had heard it before but thought nothing of it. A quick Google found this gem:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Start&gt; Control Panel&gt; Device manager&gt;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Click on the Bluetooth radio&#8217;s node (the plus sign)<br \/>\n&#8211; right click on &#8220;Dell Truemobile 355 Bluetooth + EDR&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8211; Go to properties<br \/>\n&#8211; Click the Power Management tab<br \/>\n&#8211; UNCHECK: Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The second I clicked OK, the whining stopped. Fantastic stuff! Perhaps this is because I have Bluetooth on constantly or something, and Windows and the BIOS are trying to fight to turn it on or off.
